The travel health visit is an individual session with an experienced travel nurse that includes review of your travel itinerary and health history, assessment of communicable disease risks during your trip, recommendations for vaccines and travel medications, plus complimentary copy of The AITC Handbook (24 pages of our collected wisdom on staying safe and healthy while traveling, with information on insect bite protection, altitude illness, water purification, avoiding and managing travelers’ diarrhea, and much more).
We also offer on-location vaccination and TB testing services for businesses and organizations.
Vaccines to protect against: chickenpox, cholera, hepatitis, influenza, flu, measles, mumps, rubella, rabies, pertussis, tetanus, japanese encephalitis, typhoid, meningitis, meningococcal, pneumonia, pneumococcal, HPV, varicella, polio, shingles. Tuberculosis (TB) skin testing. Blood testing for hepatitis, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, TB, or rabies immunity. Medication to prevent malaria, altitude illness. Medication to treat travelers diarrhea.
