The Tennessee version of The Ann Carroll School of Dance was started in the basement of Annâ??s home in 1970 when she and her husband first arrived in Franklin. She later built a studio off of Hillsboro Road in the Grassland community where the school remained for thirty years. The building at this location had been enlarged twice. Ann did most of the teaching for approximately 25 of those years. Then she moved to the Factory in Franklin, where she stayed for six years. The studio found its next home on Harpeth Industrial Court and then expanded to an extension location at Jamison Station. Under the current ownership of Annâ??s daughter-in-law Laura Carroll, the studio is now located in the heart of Cool Springs at 93 Seaboard Lane. .
