Maynards is a certified Tucson City of Gastronomy restaurant, and Chef Brian Smith is leaning in–more than ever–to the bounty of the Sonoran Desert. “The sheer volume and variety of ingredients is a never ending source of inspiration for us,” said Smith. Before his role as Executive Chef at Maynards, Smith trained with Michelin-star rated COI in San Francisco and
acclaimed Southern chef, Sean Brock, in Charleston where he learned how those restaurants explored regional cuisine in playful new ways.
“Having had some time to reflect over the past year, our team is looking forward to focusing more on local ingredients and new cooking techniques. After the year we’ve all had, I hope the food at Maynards brings everyone back together for a little bit of joy,” said Smith. “I hope our food makes you smile.”
The new menus will be available a la carte, or as a tasting menu.
