It’s comforting to know that the same advances in cancer care management, including the latest technology and treatment protocols used in larger metropolitan areas, are also available from Saint Agnes Cancer Center.
The 32,000-square-foot building, across the street from Saint Agnes Medical Center, houses Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology (chemotherapy) treatment facilities in one location, making the process more convenient and less stressful for patients. Round-trip van transportation from the hospital is also available for patients to continue chemotherapy or radiation treatments while they are an inpatient.
The Cancer Center offers its patients access to all five standard cancer treatment modalities: surgery (hospital inpatient), radiation oncology, chemotherapy (medical oncology), hormone therapy and biological therapy. In addition to these vital elements of cancer care, Saint Agnes is the first hospital in the Central Valley to advance into the realm of biotechnology.
