Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Bana Ball is a pediatric dentist and the most recent addition to our team. After attending Centre College on a full academic scholarship and graduating summa cum laude, she received her dental degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010, graduating at the top of her class.
Dr. Ball completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland and served as Chief Resident in her final year. As part of her academic training, she co-wrote the most recent Guidelines on Restorative Dentistry for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, based on an extensive evidence-based review of the dental literature. Her residency training comprised all aspects of pediatric dentistry, including behavior modification, nitrous oxide anxiolysis, conscious and IV sedation, hospital dentistry, early interceptive orthodontic treatment, trauma management, and treatment of special needs patients.
