At Seniors Helping Seniors, we only hire seniors, 50 years and older, to be our Caregivers. Our Caregivers are selected from the local community through a multiple-step selection process. Background and reference checks are performed and all Caregivers are Insured and bonded. Caregivers are given training before starting service and shadow experienced caregivers before working by themselves. Ongoing training is provided including dementia certification training.
We tap into the availability, increasing size and interest of the senior workforce. We provide flexible scheduling for Caregivers. Our caregivers are from our clients’ peer group. We interview both client and caregiver for their interests, hobbies, and passions to allow a personally selected caregiver for each individual client. Our caregivers and clients develop friendships.
We have a unique process to keep you informed. Our care management software system allows family members to logon and check the carelogs on the client at any time and leave notes for us.
We have No minimum hours of service. We are flexible to help as needed. We perform all types of tasks that help the senior age in place. Yardwork, simple handyman tasks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, errands. We assess home safety and can help implement improvements, e.g. replace lightbulbs, install handrails, fix steps.
Our services are Affordable and Least expensive of licensed home health.
