In March of 1958, Joan and Dennis Mack purchased a tiny gift shop on East Commercial Row in Reno, NV. The name of their new shop was Palace Jewelry and Loan, Company.When they first opened their doors, they understood their company was more than bricks, mortar and signs; it was people working together to serve the customers and the community.Wanting to help more people, they merged with Joans parents, Royal and Madeline Goodsell and moved their store into the heart of Downtown Reno.Since then, The Palace has grown and become a staple of Downtown Reno, helping locals and tourists alike not only get quick cash, but also to buy jewelry, tools, electronics and more at a fraction of retail prices.We will buy, loan or trade for gold, silver, platinum, electronics, tools, musical instruments, firearms and so much more!
