The Bank of Ann Arbor is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arbor Bancorp, a locally owned and managed financial service holding company. The Bank of Ann Arbor is the only locally owned and operated bank in the Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti, Mich. area. With six million dollars of initial capital the bank opened its doors in 1996. It has since expanded to several locations. The year 2001 saw the opening of its first branches.
