The Brazilian Cultural Institute is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing cultural education and building community through the preservation and sharing of Brazilian culture.

The Brazilian Cultural Institute has received funding from the City of Houston through grants from the Houston Arts Alliance.
The BAF offers programs in Capoeira (Capoeira Luanda Houston) for adults and kids, Samba classes, Portuguese classes, Brazilian Percussion, Cooking Classes Senior Arts Programs, After School Programs at Rice University and KIPP Sharpstown.
The BAF offers services in Facility Rental, Translation Services, Young Audiences of Houston Performances, Dance, Capoeira and Live Music Performances.
Through the year, the Brazilian Cultural Institute offers events to the community such as the BAF Summer Camp, Fundraisers, Discovery Green performances for all ages etc.
