Webb & Son was founded in 1945 by Leonard Webb and has been a family run organization since that time. In 1960, Leonard Webb and his son, Doug Webb, formed a partnership and in 1975, Webb & Son incorporated. Karen Webb Johns now serves as President. In 1974, we took on the “Robertson/Star” Pre-Engineered Metal Building franchise and that segment of our business grew rapidly and is now one of our mainstays. Webb & Son specializes in commercial, institutional, agricultural, and industrial construction. We are well experienced in wood frame, steel frame, masonry and concrete tilt-up techniques. We have built hospitals, churches, schools, government and private office buildings, giant sized agricultural storage sheds, food processing plants, supermarkets, manufacturing plants, and others too numerous to list. Webb & Son offers a variety of services including design-build, project planning, preliminary estimating, permit processing, project management, and “turn key” project construction. Our experience allows us the ability to conceptualize your needs and bring them into reality in a project that is functional to you, within your budget, and constructed within a timely manner. Webb & Son was the proud recipient of the 1998 City of Porterville Excellence in Business Award. In the year 2000, we were once again honored with the annual 2000 Central California Excellence in Business Award, Construction and Real Estate Division.
